Role Description

The role involves designing and developing applications using various development languages. Key responsibilities include:

• Complying with coding standards and development processes to ensure quality.
• Analyzing system requirements and existing business processes and information systems.
• Participating in business process reviews.
• Participating in systems planning, scheduling, and implementation.
• Initiating corrective action to stay on schedule.
• Designing and developing components for all application tiers, including UX, business logic, database access, and web services.
• Participating in the development of automation techniques for end-user content publishing and communication with existing content management systems.
• Creating prototypes and coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and implementing software applications.
• Maintaining links to external sites and ensuring accuracy on internal links while keeping information up-to-date.
• Researching, evaluating, and recommending new Internet tools and applications for assigned responsibilities.
• Contributing to the presentation and business-logic tier of self-service, customer-service, and enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires up to two years of related IT experience or equivalent developer training.
• Preferred remote locations: IL, WI, NC, GA.
• Fully remote role available from multiple states.
• No relocation, No Sponsorship or transfer of visa for this position now or in the future.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of current Web technologies and knowledge of Integrated Development Environments (IDE) tools.
• Object-oriented analysis, design, and development skills.
• Experience or education in technologies for building, managing, and interacting with enterprise web applications and service-oriented architecture.
• Demonstrates continuous learning to remain current on evolving software development technologies and practices.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills when consulting with internal and external partners.
• Organizational and analytical skills; ability to gather and organize data.
• Problem and issue resolution skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, set appropriate priorities, and accomplish assignments in a thorough and timely manner.
