[Hiring] Software Engineer @Phantom

Role Description

As a Software Engineer at Phantom, you’ll play a key role in building the systems that power our trading experiences. You’ll design and implement APIs, data pipelines, and services that bridge the gap between blockchain infrastructure and the seamless, intuitive experiences our users expect.

• Focus on the implementation and aggregation of new trading protocols, aggregators, and trade types.
• Experiment with new trading surfaces and user segments.
• Your work will directly shape the future of how users discover, execute, and interact with digital asset trades across multiple ecosystems.

Feature development:

• Own features on our web platforms – currently the Phantom Extension and our website.

New initiatives and products:

• Lead initiatives to add support for other blockchains to Phantom.
• Launch new complementary products or infrastructure.

Interfacing with users:

• Interface directly with end-users and developers building on Phantom.
• Support them and collect feedback to inform the direction of the product.

Team building:

• Work with the team to create and foster a culture of raising the bar with each new hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years full-time software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms.

Nice-To-Have:

• Experience working with trading systems.
• English language proficiency.

Requirements

The target base salary for this role will range between $200,000 to $250,000 with the addition of equity and benefits. This is determined by a few factors including your skillset, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews and market factors (such as location) at the point in time of offer.
