Role Description

CodeRoad is seeking a skilled software developer to join our team. The role involves:

• Maintain & Modernize Legacy Platforms:
  • Support, enhance, and optimize existing Delphi (Object Pascal) applications.
  • Participate in modernizing legacy features into next-generation web architectures.
• Develop & Automate Low-Code Solutions:
  • Build and customize Zoho applications (CRM, Creator, Desk, Books, Analytics).
  • Write Deluge scripts, workflows, custom functions, and blueprints to automate business processes.
• Build Full Stack Applications & Services:
  • Engineer scalable full stack web features and back-end services using Python (Django) or C#/.NET.
  • Utilize modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Design Web Integrations & APIs:
  • Implement RESTful APIs, webhooks, and integrations via Zoho Flow/Catalyst.
  • Sync data seamlessly across Delphi, Zoho, database engines, and third-party systems.
• Manage Data & Query Performance:
  • Write efficient SQL queries and maintain data integrity across MS SQL Server and internal enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate & Deliver Quality Code:
  • Partner directly with product teams and business users to translate requirements into well-tested, documented code.
  • Practice CI/CD and Git version control.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of professional software development experience bridging legacy platforms and modern web applications.
• Hands-on experience with Delphi (Object Pascal), Zoho platforms (Deluge scripting, custom workflows), Python (Django) or C#/.NET, and modern front-end tech (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, React/Vue/Angular).
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and advanced SQL (MS SQL Server) for data management and integration.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure exposure or Zoho certifications are a plus).
• Eager to expand full stack expertise under senior engineering mentorship, take ownership of production issues, and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
• Fluent English (written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate directly with North American product managers and cross-functional teams.
