Role Description

Qwaltec has an exciting opportunity for a new individual to join an early-stage SaaS solution focused on Satellite Operations. We are looking for a software developer with expertise in SaaS solution Web Development, who is an experienced software engineer in frontend and backend development.

• Design/Develop/Test/Integrate Web based microservices
• Design/Develop/Test/Integrate APIs
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and lessons learned w/ other developers
• Work in a small adhoc team environment
• Be able to work in an early-stage development environment
• Provide clear and effective communication
• Provide risk and mitigation strategies with development
• Understand constraints driving best engineering solutions
• Objective, tasking, and results focused

Qualifications

• 5-8 Years Professional Frontend development framework
• 5-8 Years Professional Experience in Web & Software Development
• SaaS solutions and related technologies
• Developing and maintaining Production Enterprise SaaS application
• API design and development using REST and/or GraphQL
• AWS (Amplify, AppSync, Cognito, Lambda, Step, EventBridge)
• Database Interfaces
• Containers (Docker)
• Cloud environments (AWS focus)
• Version control systems (Git, GitLab)
• UI/UX frontend design (Figma, Zeplin)
• Security Best Practices
• Confluence
• Event driven architectures
• Domain driven microservices
• Experience working with a remote team 90% of the time
• Agile/Small team early-stage startup type environment
• Proficient in other languages Ruby, Java, Bash
