[Hiring] Software Engineer @Comcast (CC) of Willow Grove

Role Description

This role involves contributing to a team responsible for designing and developing software in an Agile development environment.

• Use Java, Go, Python, and AWS cloud services, including Amazon OpenSearch, Lambda, EC2, S3, SageMaker, and Billing and Cost Management
• Write unit tests using Junit, Pytest, GoMock, and GitHub Copilot
• Use MySQL, Amazon Aurora, and Amazon DynamoDB to build search indexes and handle delta changes for real-time indexing
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Terraform, and Jenkins
• Support applications under development and customize current applications
• Assist with the software update process for existing applications and roll-outs of software releases
• Analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications
• Document all development activity
• Research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports
• Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products
• Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements
• Conduct analysis to determine integration needs
• Work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Two (2) years of experience developing software in an Agile development environment using Java, Go, Python, and AWS cloud services
• Experience writing unit tests using Junit, Pytest, GoMock, and GitHub Copilot
• Experience using MySQL, Amazon Aurora, and Amazon DynamoDB to build search indexes and handle delta changes
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Terraform, and Jenkins

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java, Go, Python, and AWS cloud services
• Experience with unit testing frameworks
• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Amazon Aurora, and Amazon DynamoDB
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Docker, Terraform, and Jenkins
