Role Description

We at Coforge are hiring a Software Development Manager with the following skill set.

• Technical leadership:
  • Lead complex and multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Help the team with problem solving by offering suggestions, technical guidelines, and feedback.
  • Ensure quality, performance, and security.
  • Deliver results and challenge the team.
  • Actively work in technical discussions, architecture, and other decisions focused on Development routines.
• Project Management:
  • Ensure valuable deliveries, timeline, ceremonies, and project metrics.
  • Remove blocks and manage risks.
  • Report project status and collect/apply lessons learned.
  • Propose changes to the existing Software Development process to achieve better results.
• People Management:
  • Conduct evaluations, IDP, and feedback sessions.
  • Ensure processes are followed and improve productivity.
  • Enhance technical and soft skills, motivate the team, and provide career direction.
  • Manage hiring and dismissal processes and retain talents.
• Relationship management:
  • Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders (both technical and business).
  • Take accountability to deliver software solutions and secure development team’s commitment.
• Suggest and promote process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related areas or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Software Development.
• Experience in a leadership role in software development projects.
• Experience in delivering software projects, management, building, and staffing of software development teams.
• Manage customer expectations while working with cross-functional teams to meet customer/product delivery goals.
• Knowledge and experience in agile methodologies.
• Drive team to innovate and deliver roadmap features with agility and high quality.
• Hands-on profile, actively involved in technical and architectural discussions.
• Advanced English.
