Role Description

Our development team works collaboratively to build and maintain our customer-facing SaaS systems. We operate in an Agile environment where developers are involved in the full lifecycle of a project - from initial architectural decisions and writing clean code to troubleshooting and deployment. It is a supportive environment where we work together during sprint ceremonies to align on goals, share technical knowledge, and ensure we are delivering stable, scalable solutions to our users.

We are looking for an ambitious and technically minded Software Developer to join our Development team and help contribute to the design and architecture of our products. The remit and focus of the role is to write and implement clean, scalable code and recommend, as well as implement improvements, to our range of products. It’s a broad and exciting role, so we’re looking for someone up for a challenge - if you’re a fast learner and a good team player, this is the role for you.

  • Contribute to the design, architecture, and implementation decisions
  • Analyse existing programs and make modifications and improvements
  • Implement new software solutions, websites, programs, and applications
  • Write and implement clean, scalable code
  • Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies such as Product Backlog refinement, Sprint
  • Contribute to Sprint Planning and Sprint Review/Retrospectives
  • Troubleshoot and debug solutions
  • Verify and deploy software solutions
  • Recommend and implement improvements

Qualifications

  • A strong aptitude for programming and problem solving
  • Commercial experience of working on customer facing SaaS systems
  • Solid experience with C#, ASP.Net, WebApi2
  • A background of working with SQL, Entity Framework
  • Some JavaScript / jQuery experience would be advantageous
  • Azure DevOps / Azure Hosting would be a bonus
  • Proven experience of working within an Agile environment
  • A good team player and the ability to support colleagues through mentoring/coaching
  • Ability to manage yourself and align with team goals
