Role Description

You will be part of a world class identity matching solution building state of the art applications that are at the center of identity management for Optum Technology. You will have a true opportunity to change the healthcare landscape for the better. The role requires providing 24×7 operational support to all production practices on holidays and weekends.

• Coordinate with various teams and raise support tickets for all issues.
• Analyze root causes and assist in the efficient resolution of all production processes.
• Maintain logs of all issues and ensure resolutions according to quality assurance tests for all production processes.
• Have a good understanding of business processes within various systems used within the application.
• Be ambitious and willing to work out of your comfort zone.

Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products, and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4+ years of experience with Cloud SDK's with AWS using Java (Spring Boot microservices), Scala, and Python.
• 3+ years of experience with Distributed Data services (DynamoDB/Athena/Mongo/Apollo GraphQL platform).
• 3+ years of experience with AWS Cloud: S3, CloudWatch, ECS, Lambda, RDS, EMR.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions & container orchestration using AWS ECS/Kubernetes clusters.
• 3+ years of experience in Elastic APM.
• 3+ years of experience in Unix, Hadoop, HBase, and Hive.
