Role Description

KITSCH is currently looking for a motivated and talented Shopify Developer to join our Technology Team and elevate our e-commerce storefront. In this role, you won’t just maintain the site; you’ll actively develop and customize high-performing themes, build reusable components, and integrate custom APIs that directly impact our global brand's growth and user experience.

• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build responsive, high-performing e-commerce storefronts.
• Build reusable components and scalable front-end features aligned with Shopify's theme architecture and best practices.
• Integrate third-party applications and custom APIs to extend Shopify functionality.
• Work closely with designers and project managers to translate UI/UX mockups into seamless digital experiences.
• Optimize website performance with a focus on load times, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility.
• Debug and resolve issues across a variety of browsers, devices, and Shopify environments.
• Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code using version control tools such as Git.
• Stay current with Shopify updates, web development trends, and emerging tools or frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to process improvements across the dev team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Web Developer with a focus on Shopify Theme development.
• Experience in the Shopify Ecosystem (Online Store 2.0, Shopify CLI, and App Integrations).
• Experience in E-Commerce.
• Desirable: Experience in the Beauty Industry.
• High level of English (C1).

Requirements

• Proficiency in Shopify theme architecture, templating language (Liquid), Metafields, and Customizations.
• Strong skills in Vanilla JavaScript and modern frameworks/libraries (Alpine.js or React for headless setups).
• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS), and responsive design principles.
• Experience working with Shopify’s Admin and Storefront APIs, as well as third-party APIs.
• Proficiency with Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
