Role Description

DaVita is seeking a driven ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ServiceNow Developer will focus on the development and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, with a strong emphasis on HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and NowAssist. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality solutions, developing custom applications, and supporting the continuous improvement of the platform. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, takes initiative on new projects, and is dedicated to providing excellent technical support.

Core Responsibilities

• Development and Implementation:
  • Develop, configure, and maintain solutions within the HRSD and ITSM modules.
  • Implement and support AI capabilities using NowAssist to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
  • Build custom applications, workflows, and integrations to meet business requirements.
• Operational Excellence and Support:
  • Handle operational catalog item changes, manage update sets, and perform routine platform maintenance.
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, troubleshooting and resolving defects and incidents.
  • Ensure the stability and performance of critical business processes on the platform.
• Platform Strategy and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with Senior Developers and Engineers to execute on the platform roadmap.
  • Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Document technical designs, processes, and user guides.

Qualifications

• Experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Administrator (e.g., 2-4+ years).
• Solid technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform (JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Integration Hub).
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required; Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred.
• Experience with or strong interest in HRSD and NowAssist; experience with Field Service Management and Business Continuity Management a plus.
• Proven ability to offer solutions and support troubleshooting for complex issues.
• Eagerness to learn, take on new projects, and contribute innovative solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach.
