Role Description

Sabot Consulting is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to provide senior level technical leadership and consultative services in support of State departments and public sector agencies. The Senior Technical Lead serves as a hands-on technical leader responsible for:

• Analytical problem solving
• Solution design
• Data and system oversight
• Stakeholder coordination
• Delivery of project tasks and deliverables

The role requires close collaboration with State IT staff and leadership to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives, governance standards, and State regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience providing Senior Technical Lead or comparable senior level technical services to a California State Department.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.

Requirements

• Analytical thinking and complex problem-solving in public sector environments.
• Providing technical expertise across applications, systems, and databases.
• Data project management, planning, and organizational support.
• Two consecutive years of experience within the last ten years providing Senior Technical Lead consultative services to federal, state, local, or other public agencies.
