Role Description

As a Senior Technical Architect in our SITA-Offshore department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of air travel. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating robust and scalable solutions, ensuring a seamless travel experience for passengers.

• Lead the architecture and design of complex software solutions for the aviation domain.
• Mentor and guide a team of architects and developers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Ensure adherence to architectural principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, especially in the aviation sector.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance the quality of the codebase.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Document and communicate architectural decisions and design patterns effectively.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, demonstrating technical expertise to potential clients.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience (8+ years) as a Technical Architect or similar role, preferably in the aviation industry.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and database design.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies like Angular or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Azure and AWS.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities, especially for complex technical challenges.
• Passion for staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
