Role Description

The Engineering function is responsible for all engineering activities within a firm to ensure that business objectives are met. This includes:

• Creation, development, design and improvement of products
• Equipment, facilities, services, standards and procedures in all engineering fields

The Software area is responsible for the development of computer programming systems and applications including:

• Design, coding, testing and deployment of products and solutions to meet firm obligations

Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including:

• Cloud-based or internet-related tools
• Full stack development

Employees focused on ensuring products (including websites) and hosted networks are designed and developed to be cyber-safe and compliant are typically matched to one of our software development engineering roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development methodologies including Waterfall and Agile
• Familiarity with cloud databases and data management
• Knowledge of network engineering and systems administration
• Understanding of information security principles

Requirements

• Ability to administer and harden internal processes and systems against outside penetration and attack
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
