Role Description

Dealstack is on a mission to power private equity. Today, there is no purpose-built tech in place to power the world of private equity. Dealmaking is manual, chaotic and backward. Dealstack is a SaaS platform that puts an end to these outdated practices, setting a new collaboration standard in the industry.

Founded by experienced professionals from within the industry, our products sit at the intersection of SaaS, fintech and legaltech. Dealstack has an ambitious, multi-product roadmap. The first product went live in 2023, allowing private equity professionals to easily onboard and maintain investment programs.

Following strong commercial traction from leading industry players, we are looking for ambitious individuals with proven software engineering skills and experience working for a high growth software company to support our Tech Team. The role presents an exciting opportunity to build and deliver innovation to a fast-moving industry.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial experience as a Full stack developer with Backend specialization
• Based in Sofia, Bulgaria, working remotely with 6 hours of overlap with UK time zone business hours
• Interested in working with fresh tech stack and being part of an independent team
• Interested in solving real engineering problems
• Works cleanly with a value of writing collaborative code first
• Opinionated and passionate about their work
• Uses AI coding assistants as part of everyday work

Requirements

• Joining the development team with experienced people to choose the best business-tech solution
• Shipping new features while maintaining high standards in code quality
• Working in a small team focusing on quality over quantity
• Having a voice to work with other senior developers on technical choices
• Working on graph problems and visualization, instrument and vesting calculations, and document workflows
• Building component-based UIs in React and backend services in Node.js and NestJS
• Working across a typed API boundary with REST endpoints described with OpenAPI
• Building long-running and bulk processes on Temporal workflows
• Working on fine-grained authorization and multi-tenant data scoping
• Maintaining a healthy balance between speed and quality
