[Hiring] Senior Software Engineer @Ontrac Solutions

Role Description

OnTrac is seeking highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineers to join a contractor program supporting a healthcare / pharmacy benefit management (PBM) customer. The successful candidates will work closely with the Lead Software Engineer, the delivery team, and customer stakeholders to ensure project success from initial definition through final delivery.

• Openings: two to three Senior Software Engineers, working alongside one Lead Software Engineer
• Location: United States, fully remote

Qualifications

• Experience delivering software in the healthcare industry; pharmacy benefit management (PBM) experience strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience designing and building REST APIs and system-to-system integrations
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, including building pipelines and integrating external services with the platform
• Working knowledge of healthcare data standards: HL7 and CDA / C-CDA documents
• Experience building data movement and orchestration with Azure Data Factory
• Experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance (or SQL Server), including schema design and query tuning
• Production development in Python
• Production development in C# / .NET

Requirements

• HL7 FHIR experience
• Familiarity with PBM data domains such as claims, eligibility, formulary, and prior authorization
• Experience working with PHI under HIPAA controls
• Prior experience as an embedded contractor on a customer engineering team

• Deliver work to the customer's technical standards, following its code review, testing, and deployment practices
• Onboard rapidly and begin contributing to integration work early in the engagement
• Communicate progress, risks, and blockers promptly to the Lead Software Engineer and delivery stakeholders
