[Hiring] Senior Software Engineer @SKUTOPIA

Role Description

As a product engineer you will:

• Be a crucial member to drive our products forward, working closely with product managers, product designers, and fellow product engineers to enhance Skutopia’s feature set, delivering value for our customers.
• Design and deliver high quality software, gathering requirements, seeking feedback, and launching solutions that make a meaningful impact.
• Thrive by collaborating with fellow engineers, product team members, customer success, and operations staff, engaging with different viewpoints and challenges.
• Participate in and contribute towards fostering an inclusive culture where everyone is welcome and has their voice heard, embracing a diverse working environment.
• Have a scale-up mindset, understanding how to ship incremental value and test hypotheses, contributing outside of your comfort zone.
• Work with technologies including TypeScript, Node, React, Postgres, GraphQL, Event Sourcing, and Functional Programming. Familiarity with Pulumi for IaC and Google Cloud Platform is a plus.

We are currently recruiting for two positions:

• Shipping domain: Ingest sales orders, create carrier quotes, book carrier labels, and work closely with the delivery services team to build features for a modern carrier platform.
• Fulfilment domain: Build out our warehouse management system, integrate with physical hardware (robots, conveyor systems, box printing machines), and develop frontend solutions for operations staff.
