Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team working on a sophisticated SaaS web platform. In this role, you will:

• Develop large features and improvements as well as fixes and library upgrades
• Write unit tests to maintain and improve test coverage
• Drive coding best practices within the team and conduct thorough code reviews
• Guide and mentor junior engineers, providing constructive feedback and career development support
• Actively participate in agile development processes including design reviews, planning, and retrospectives
• Implement integrations with third-party services

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience developing web applications
• Expert-level proficiency in Python
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and React
• Solid knowledge of MongoDB or SQL databases
• Proficiency with Git and Docker
• Strong CS fundamentals including data structures and algorithms
• Deep knowledge of modern web application architecture and design patterns
• Proven experience coaching and mentoring junior engineers
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal direction
• Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
