Role Description

This role involves developing software applications to enhance our core platform and improve user experience.

• Build and ship features across our entire stack, from backend services to customer-facing interfaces.
• Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Experiment with AI tools to boost developer and user experience.
• Collaborate closely with teammates across engineering, product, and design.
• Take ownership of projects from idea to production.
• Mentor other developers and share knowledge to help the team grow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building web applications (Ruby on Rails preferred).
• Proven ability to ship high-quality work with minimal oversight.
• Strong ownership and drive; you make things happen.
• Passion for solving problems and continuously improving.
• Comfortable working independently in a distributed team.

Requirements

• Bonus points for experience with building APIs (REST or GraphQL).
• Frontend frameworks like React or Next.js.
• Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
• AWS services and APIs.
• AI tooling.
