[Hiring] Senior Software Development Engineer @CSG

Role Description

We are looking for a Software Developer Engineer who will:

• Build highly available, scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems
• Continuously improve assigned areas by applying scripting, automation, or application packaging
• Work well within a team environment using Agile methods
• Support the platform in customer-facing environments, including troubleshooting issues and monitoring the system
• Be willing to grow and learn from those around you
• Perform unit tests code and debug thoroughly
• Support system and solution integration testing, user acceptance testing and resolve problems encountered
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, or other forms of team quality procedures
• Collaborate effectively with other team members
• Be highly motivated, curious, and able to lead development projects from concept to running in production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or technically related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of technical experience in software development and software support/maintenance
• Experience in React, C#, Python, .NET, MS SQL Server, & Web Services (AngularJS is a plus)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git), CI/CD processes, and Azure DevOps
• Solid grasp of relational database platforms and access patterns – Microsoft SQL preferred
• Experience with Cloud Services such as Amazon Web Services is a plus
• Urgency to respond to and help restore critical production services outside normal working hours when necessary
• Proficiency in English in a business environment is a must
