Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer, DevOps with strong CI/CD engineering experience to help us improve how software is built, tested, released, and deployed across Carnegie Learning. This is a hands-on engineering role with CI/CD and software delivery engineering at its core.

• Evaluate existing build and deployment ecosystem.
• Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Engineer solutions for faster, more reliable, standardized, and safer software delivery.
• Work extensively with Jenkins-based CI/CD platform, Groovy shared libraries, GitHub workflows, AWS environments, and more.
• Develop across the entire software delivery lifecycle from code commit through deployment and rollback.
• Collaborate well in a distributed environment with various teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD engineering, software engineering, platform engineering, or cloud engineering.
• Strong communication skills and ability to solve complex technical problems independently.

Requirements

• Highly experienced in Jenkins, Groovy, and CI/CD engineering.
• Experienced in software delivery engineering, including build systems, automated testing, and deployment.
• Solid experience in AWS and Infrastructure as Code, particularly CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Experience with containers and cloud-native deployments, including Docker and AWS ECS/Fargate.
• Proficient in Git/GitHub and troubleshooting across various environments.
