Role Description

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to help us change the way the world works, with anytime, anywhere, any-device productivity. Here, you’ll design and develop new product features, defining and implementing scalable architecture for modern frontend web applications with our Parallels team.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will:

• Design and develop new product features, defining and implementing scalable architecture for modern frontend web applications.
• Work closely with a team of inspired, highly skilled colleagues to deliver industry-leading web applications built on a modern technology stack.
• Write, test, and optimize code with strong emphasis on performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Developers to refine requirements and deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Own the full lifecycle of service delivery - from design and development to deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Contribute effectively both as an individual contributor and as a collaborative team member.
• Share expertise, mentor teammates, and help elevate engineering standards across the team.
• Ensure all solutions follow best practices for security, privacy, and data protection.
• Leverage modern AI tools to accelerate development, improve quality, and explore new possibilities - proactively pushing boundaries and championing innovative ways to work smarter.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Frontend Web Developer.
• Deep experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Vue.js, and a solid understanding of their internal principles and design patterns.
• Strong command of core web technologies: HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and common API consumption patterns.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining large-scale, production-grade frontend applications.
• Ability to design and implement responsive, cross-browser user interfaces.
• Experience with testing tools such as Storybook, Jest, and Playwright.
• Solid knowledge of state management tools such as Vuex, Pinia, or Redux.
• Familiarity with client-side performance profiling, debugging, and optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in designing, implementing, and consuming RESTful web services.
• Experience with Vite and modern build tooling.
• Ability to deliver new features and refactor existing code with a focus on clarity, maintainability, and long-term sustainability.
• Comfortable participating in code reviews and architecture discussions to raise the overall quality and productivity of the team.
• Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Committed to continuous learning and growth, actively sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Confident using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to improve development workflows - and proactive in experimenting, innovating, and identifying meaningful ways AI can enhance the team’s results.

Requirements

• Experience with Node.js (not required, but nice to have).
• Familiarity with the WebSockets API (not required, but nice to have).
• Experience working with Web Workers (not required, but nice to have).
• Experience with end-to-end (E2E) testing frameworks (not required, but nice to have).
