Role Description

This is a remote position.

Senior ServiceNow Developer

• Start: ASAP
• End: 31/12/2026 + possible extension
• Location: Remote in Europe
• Effort: Full-time
• Language: English speaker

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement advanced ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules.
• Lead development initiatives related to:
  • Service Portal
  • Custom Web Development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, UI scripting)
  • Customer Service Management (CSM)
  • IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • Virtual Agent / Virtual Assistant
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders across US time zones.
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and platform governance.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and upgrade existing solutions as the platform evolves.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise across Service Portal, CSM, ITSM, and Virtual Agent.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, UI policies, client scripts, Glide APIs, integrations, and custom app development.
• Experience working in environments with high internal ServiceNow maturity.
• Excellent communication skills, able to work directly with demanding business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to operate independently, handle ambiguity, and deliver high-quality solutions under pressure.
• Comfortable collaborating with teams and leadership located in US time zones.

Requirements

• Nice to have:
  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS in ITSM or CSM, etc.)
  • Experience with complex integrations (REST, SOAP, MID server)
  • Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
