[Hiring] Senior Salesforce Developer @DDN

2mths ago - DDN is hiring a remote Senior Salesforce Developer. πŸ’Έ Salary: unspecified πŸ“Location: USA

Role Description

We are hiring a Senior Salesforce Developer with deep expertise in the Quote-to-Cash (QTC) domain to join our Salesforce engineering team. This is not a typical Salesforce development role. Our team operates as a small, high-impact pod of forward-deployed engineers where each individual owns the full delivery lifecycle β€” discovery, design, build, test, deploy, and hypercare. There are no separate BAs, QAs, or release engineers; you wear all of those hats. If you enjoy owning outcomes end-to-end and partnering directly with business stakeholders, this role is for you.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, build, and maintain Salesforce CPQ solutions including product catalogs, complex bundles, pricing models, discount schedules, product rules, price rules, quote templates, and approval workflows.
  • Translate business requirements directly into working solutions β€” acting as your own BA, developer, and QA throughout the lifecycle, and partnering with Sales Ops, Finance, Order Management, and Provisioning teams.
  • Build and maintain core Salesforce customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Visualforce, and Salesforce Flows.
  • Design and implement inbound and outbound integrations between Salesforce and ERP, billing, finance, provisioning, and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, named credentials, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and Bulk/Streaming APIs.
  • Collaborate closely with our dedicated integration/middleware team to design contracts, troubleshoot integration flows, and ship end-to-end solutions together.
  • Own the renewals, amendments, co-terming, and contract lifecycle flows within CPQ.
  • Manage your own deployments using SFDX, Git-based source control, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Own production support for the CPQ stack β€” investigate quote calculation issues, pricing edge cases, and integration failures, and drive long-term remediation.
  • Write unit tests, perform peer code reviews, and uphold engineering quality standards across the team.
  • Use AI tools as part of your day-to-day workflow β€” we expect every engineer on the team to lean on AI to ship faster and better.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of total Salesforce experience, with at least 4+ years dedicated to Salesforce CPQ.
  • Deep expertise across Salesforce CPQ: bundle configuration, advanced pricing, product rules, discount schedules, quote templates, and order/contract/renewal/amendment flows.
  • Strong hands-on Apex, LWC, Aura, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce Flows.
  • Hands-on Salesforce integration experience β€” REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, named credentials, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and Bulk/Streaming APIs.
  • Strong collaboration skills with adjacent technical teams.
  • Comfortable owning a feature end-to-end.
  • Experience with Git, SFDX, and modern CI/CD tooling for Salesforce.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Requirements

  • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator

Preferred Certifications

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
  • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Certified Revenue Cloud Consultant Accredited Professional
  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
  • Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on Salesforce Revenue Cloud experience.
  • Experience at a hardware, storage, networking, or enterprise software company.
  • Experience working alongside middleware platforms like MuleSoft, Boomi, and Workato.
  • Experience with Salesforce Billing or subscription/recurring-revenue models.
  • Experience with CLM tools such as Conga CLM, DocuSign CLM, or Ironclad.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Experience with channel/partner quoting, deal registration, or distributor pricing.
  • Familiarity with tax engines and payment/billing systems.
  • Prior hands-on experience using AI development tools in a Salesforce context.
