Role Description

VIATEQ Corporation is looking for a Senior SailPoint Engineer to support our Prime contractor and government customer. This is a remote role based out of the Montgomery, AL area. This position requires an active Secret clearance at minimum.

The Senior SailPoint Engineer will focus on the hands-on technical execution of identity governance and administration (IGA) workflows. This role will involve:

• Configuring automated provisioning, segregation of duties (SoD) policies, and access certification campaigns to support application integration targets.
• Developing custom scripts for identity lifecycle rules.
• Building and testing connectors to authoritative directories.
• Troubleshooting entitlement synchronization issues.
• Executing application onboarding playbooks within DevSecOps pipelines.
• Resolving defects with application owners during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensuring configurations align with the client’s Zero Trust compliance requirements while supporting the transition of legacy workloads into a unified access management framework.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise SailPoint ICAM Identity and Access Management and Authorization support for a federal customer.
• SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer Certification.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience configuring and supporting SailPoint identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions.
• Proficiency in identity lifecycle management, including automated provisioning, deprovisioning, access requests, and workflow automation.
• Ability to develop and troubleshoot custom scripts, business rules, and identity lifecycle configurations.
• Experience building, configuring, and testing connectors, integrating authoritative sources, and resolving entitlement synchronization issues.
• Knowledge of access certifications, entitlement management, segregation of duties (SoD), and access control policies.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Zero Trust security principles, and identity governance compliance requirements.
• Ability to perform functional testing, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), troubleshoot defects, and coordinate technical resolutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with application owners, security teams, and implementation stakeholders.
