[Hiring] Senior Programmer Analyst @Jack Henry

Role Description

We are seeking a Sr level iSeries Install Programmer (will hire Advisory Level for the right quality candidate) to join our CPS Host Installation team. Our team provides programming support for existing software enhancements and implements software for our Jack Henry Banking clients. This programmer position can be worked remotely from anywhere in the United States but will require travel up to 10% of the time, and will include extended hours that will include nights and weekends during go-live weeks.

• Develops conversion and system implementation plans; implements newly created code and fixes into existing software.
• Provides programming support for various interfaces.
• Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.
• Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.
• Develops custom programming code for customer service orders.
• Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes; may assist the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
• Creates all programming documentation; may include defining the system and functional requirements of the product.
• May complete project bids and/or work effort estimates. Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.
• May perform other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 years of RPG programming experience on the iSeries or related IBM OS.
• Must be able to travel at least 10% of the time for projects as needed.
• Must be willing to work weekends and evening support as project responsibilities dictate.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in MIS or Computer Science.
• Experience with EFT and the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of the Turnover Change Management system.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with SQL.
