Role Description
The Program Cost/Schedule Control Analyst II sets up a cost control system, and monitors and controls costs, and schedules on contracts requiring a validated cost schedule control system. Responsibilities include:

Performing analyses and preparing reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines.

Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work.

Performing and/or assisting in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.

Preparing program plans to capture and schedule program requirements and statements of work.

Performing schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program costs and scheduling risks.

Ensuring adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures.

Directing the preparation of expenditure projections and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.

Incorporating contractual changes into control systems by maintaining awareness of outstanding work against each contract.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

4+ years of related experience.

Work history demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to manipulate, analyze, and distill large volumes of data.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong understanding of the interdependencies of financial accounts and cost and revenue drivers.

Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and flexible hours as required.

Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instructions.

Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.

Intermediate to advanced user of MS Excel.

Intermediate user of MS PowerPoint.
Requirements

SAP experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).

Relevant experience in a Job Cost Environment (preferred).

Accounting/Finance Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry (preferred).
