Role Description

We are looking for a Senior OutSystems Engineer based in Portugal. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop solutions following OutSystems development best practices, ensuring solution performance and user adoption.
• Design and develop solutions with the team, following development processes (like TDD, BDD, code reviews).
• Produce and test code in short cycles, with a high degree of automation.
• Gather feedback from end-users and adapt your solutions.
• Focus on developing maintainable solutions that scale to thousands of users.
• Experience in designing and communicating high-level functional designs and solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or other STEM courses.
• More than 2 years of OutSystems development experience and certifications.
• More than 4 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in web-based languages: JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
• Programming with databases: SQL Server, Oracle or Postgres.
• Knowledge in Database Modeling.
• Experience in Agile methodologies practices.
• Understanding of solution architecture and design, and web application performance.
• Good communication skills; fluency in English, written and spoken is essential.
• Good Customer Orientation and Interpersonal Skills.
• Strong quality orientation and attention to detail.
