Role Description

Senior React Native Engineer with intimate familiarity with the mobile platform to join our team. Our Mobile Engineers are engaged in the full spectrum of product development, working with a team to write great software and build engaging products. Do you have the technical and relational skills to build business-critical applications with a high-performing, cross-functional team?

• We generally operate with small teams working closely together on a wide variety of projects that range from Bluetooth integration with hardware to experimental system mobile applications.
• We have products in production today built with a range of platforms.
• We are not religious about our technology, but choose the best for the problem.
• Our mobile stack today includes React Native, TypeScript, Node.js and more.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React.js.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress or similar automated testing frameworks.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and collaborative software development practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for learning, mentoring, and building high-quality, scalable mobile applications.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, business-critical mobile solutions from design through deployment.
• Develop and maintain reusable components, REST API integrations, and automated tests to ensure application quality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, code reviews, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes, cloud deployments, and continuous improvement of mobile development best practices.
