Role Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Laserfiche Developer to design, enhance, and support enterprise document-ingestion, classification, workflow, and repository solutions. This is a hands-on role requiring deep Laserfiche Workflow expertise combined with strong C#, VBScript/VB.NET, and SQL skills to automate document processing, develop custom workflow functions, integrate external systems, and sustain reliable high-volume operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and troubleshoot Laserfiche Workflow processes for document routing, metadata updates, notifications, and downstream automation.
• Create custom code functions and modules in C# and VB/VBScript using Laserfiche Workflow Designer.
• Develop and maintain custom C#/.NET applications, services, DLLs, and scripts for email intake, document processing, and downstream integrations.
• Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and data-validation logic supporting Laserfiche metadata and workflow orchestration.
• Configure and support Laserfiche Quick Fields for OCR, document classification, metadata capture, and conditional processing.
• Configure and support Laserfiche Import Agent for automated document ingestion, OCR, indexing, and repository filing.
• Integrate document intake with Microsoft 365 email services, including migration from Exchange Web Services to Microsoft Graph.
• Troubleshoot production issues involving ingestion lag, workflow failures, OCR accuracy, and service health.
• Implement logging, monitoring, diagnostics, and operational runbooks for Laserfiche components.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced Laserfiche Workflow and Laserfiche Workflow Designer experience.
• Strong C#/.NET and VBScript/VB.NET skills including custom workflow code functions and reusable components.
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills for queries, stored procedures, and troubleshooting.
• Laserfiche Quick Fields, OCR, metadata templates, and document classification.
• Laserfiche Import Agent, SDK-based integrations, repositories, and WebLink.
• Windows services troubleshooting and production workflow performance.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Graph API, Exchange Online integration, or migration from Exchange Web Services.
• Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD, Checkmarx, or equivalent code-scanning tools.
• Application Insights, Dynatrace, SIEM integration, or other observability tools.
• AI/ML-assisted document classification or high-volume financial document processing.
• REST APIs, COM integrations, or service-to-service integration patterns.
