[Hiring] Senior Integrations Engineer @Saks Fifth Avenue

Role Description

In this role you will be reporting to the Manager of the Enterprise Integration (EI) Platform team, you will serve as a Technical SME responsible for leading integration delivery, guiding architectural design, and aligning projects with the enterprise roadmap. You will mentor development teams, ensure code quality, and oversee platform enhancements while maintaining up to 20% hands-on development.

What You Will Do

• Technical Leadership & Mentoring: Guide and mentor internal and offshore developer teams, perform code reviews, and enforce integration governance policies.
• Architecture & Design: Partner with Integration Architects to review, approve, and implement cloud integration solutions and API designs.
• Platform & Monitoring Management: Oversee build improvements, platform upgrades, migrations, and ensure robust monitoring using CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk.
• DevOps & Delivery: Drive CI/CD automation, manage release artifacts, and troubleshoot technical issues across complex cloud environments.
• Hands-On Development: Execute hands-on engineering tasks (up to 20%) to support complex features or framework builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 4–7+ years of experience in integration development and technical leadership within global enterprises.
• Deep expertise in API architecture, microservices, enterprise messaging systems, and cloud-native solutions.
• Implementation experience of integration cloud platforms at a global scale.
• Optional/Nice-to-Have: Experience with MuleSoft, IIB, IBM MQ, or GoAnywhere MFT.
• Deep experience of integration and API architecture and strong understanding of DevOps / CI / CD.
• Understanding of security concepts such as identity management, authentication, authorization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in dynamic, fast-paced environment.
