Backend Systems

• Design scalable systems across application, data, and infrastructure layers
• Define patterns for integrations, data modeling, and performance
• Own system performance, observability, and reliability
• Improve deployment and operational workflows

Data Interaction Layer

• Influence decisions around analytics infrastructure and AI integration
• Design and maintain data models (star, wide-table, or Iceberg-native) to support real-time and batch analytics
• Optimize storage + query performance
• Develop and maintain ingestion pipelines (NiFi 2.0 → Kafka → Iceberg → BigQuery) end-to-end

Team Impact

• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards
• Act as a technical partner to Doowii’s product and leadership teams

Qualifications

• BS in computer engineering (or similar field with 10+ years of experience)
• 5+ years of full-stack experience
