[Hiring] Senior Full Stack Engineer, Personalization @CookUnity

Role Description

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our Personalization Squad, directly reporting to the Engineer Manager.

• Collaborating closely with a Product Manager and a designer to contribute to the shape of the product strategy, define OKRs, and chart the roadmap.
• Maintaining regular communication with senior management and providing updates on status, risk assessment, and the broader product strategy.
• Owning the design and implementation of features within our Javascript stack that engage customers and have a meaningful impact on people’s lives.
• Iterating on new and existing features to improve user experience and performance.
• Actively contributing to the adoption of strong software architecture, development of best practices, and new technologies.
• Improving the maturity of our technical stack with engineering best practices.
• Being part of the code review process and helping to mentor other engineers.
• Contributing technically to projects by being a hands-on coder, removing roadblocks, and repairing technical issues.
• Partnering with members of Product, Growth, Marketing, Customer Experience, and other teams to continually refine and improve our product in an agile process.
• Helping to have higher levels of uptime & supporting the on-call rotation that will help the business run 24/7.

Qualifications

• At least +5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, GraphQL, MySQL, and Typescript.
• Experience designing and building cloud architecture, backends, middle ends, web apps.
• Experience implementing and maintaining unit tests and e2e tests.
• Strong knowledge of service-oriented architectures.
• Understanding of how to interact with and build backend REST APIs.
• Familiarity with continuous integration.
• Advanced level of English.

Requirements

• Experience with Machine Learning (preferred).
• Proficient in relational database management (preferred).
• Experience working with Docker/Kubernetes/CI environments (preferred).
• Enjoy working in small teams in a fast-paced startup environment (preferred).
• Previous experience leading or mentoring teams is highly valued (preferred).
