Role Description

We are hiring a Senior Full-stack Developer. You will build and ship new products across a portfolio of companies. You work from the backlog alongside your team, and you manage your own day-to-day work. You also help our digital marketing agency with technical needs from time to time. The work happens in TypeScript and JavaScript stacks, with AWS and mobile app releases as part of the work.

What You Will Do

• Build and Ship Production Code: You write and own full-stack code in React, TypeScript, and Node.js, and you take products from AI-generated prototypes into production.
• Make Sure Stakeholders Never Find a Bug: You test your work before it reaches a stakeholder. This includes writing automated tests, testing on web and on real iOS and Android devices, and releasing only when it holds up.
• Rapid AI Prototyping and Development: You use AI-assisted workflows (Lovable, Cursor, and emerging AI agents) to spin up and validate feature prototypes quickly, then carry them into full engineering production.
• Hands-on Architecture and Code Review: You review code, diagnose build bottlenecks, and directly program code overrides or refinements when AI generation tools hit their limits.
• Work From Specs and Sharpen Them: You build from the specs and acceptance criteria written by our product manager and stakeholders, raising gaps early and proposing solutions.
• Ship Mobile Releases: You manage App Store and Google Play submissions, review responses, and release schedules for our mobile apps.
• Support the Agency: You help with the agency's technical needs, including AWS accounts, hosting, access, software costs, and the technical side of client projects.

Tech Stack

• React, TypeScript, and Node.js (front end and back end)
• Supabase and PostgreSQL for application back ends and databases
• AWS for hosting and infrastructure
• Data warehouse storage for reporting and analytics
• AI-assisted development with Lovable, Cursor, Windsurf, v0, and emerging AI agents
• WordPress for marketing sites, hosted on Cloudways
• iOS and Android app releases through the App Store and Google Play

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience (React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Supabase/PostgreSQL).
• Self-directed work: manage your own time and priorities.
• Active, practical experience using AI code creation or agentic tools.
• Strong UI/UX awareness and product intuition.
• Exceptional English communication skills, written and verbal.
• A Tester's Eye: ability to find bugs and document reproduction steps.
• Experience with React Native, Capacitor, or similar for cross-platform mobile.
• Experience moving a product from an AI app builder into a production codebase.
• Familiarity with AWS and mobile app submission processes.
• Experience working on SaaS or marketing technology products.
• Familiarity with analytics, tag management, and CRM integrations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing remote software engineering teams (Nice to Have).
• Experience training developers and leading code reviews (Nice to Have).
• Experience as a fractional CTO, agency tech lead, or startup technical founder (Nice to Have).
• A deep background in marketing and sales (Nice to Have).

Hours and Language

Fluent English, spoken and written, is required. You will work a combination of US and overseas hours to overlap with our US stakeholders and developers in other time zones.

How the Role Grows

You start as the first developer, owning the build and quality of our newest products, plus occasional technical help for the agency. As products mature, you take on more architecture responsibilities and can grow into technical leadership by mentoring developers and leading code reviews.
