[Hiring] Senior Front-End Developer @EPAM

Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to architect, build, and evolve user-facing features for a modern point-of-sale experience deployed across client retail environments. In this role, you will drive technical initiatives, mentor peers, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver robust UI components and high-quality releases at scale.

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable frontend components and shared libraries using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Drive the delivery of complex user-facing features from technical design through release, aligned with product strategy and team priorities.
• Define testing strategies and implement comprehensive unit, integration, and regression tests using React Testing Library to ensure long-term reliability.
• Lead the adoption and extension of Material UI to establish consistent, accessible, and reusable UI patterns across the application.
• Partner closely with backend engineers to design API contracts, integrate services, and optimize end-to-end flows.
• Lead code reviews, define engineering standards, and champion best practices to raise the overall quality bar across the team.
• Own the stability of a high-availability, store-ready application by proactively identifying and resolving defects, performance bottlenecks, and technical debt.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript, React, and TypeScript, including delivery of production-grade applications.
• Proven experience with Anthropic Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools, with the ability to integrate them effectively into daily workflows.
• Strong architectural thinking and the ability to make sound technical decisions in ambiguous environments.
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership, working effectively with backend, product, and design partners.
• Strong ownership mindset with a track record of driving initiatives end-to-end and adapting to shifting priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to influence technical direction and explain complex concepts clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ level).

Requirements

• Nice to have: Practical experience with Java.
• Working knowledge of Spring Boot.
• Experience with New Relic for monitoring and performance analysis.
