[Hiring] Senior Engineer @Lemon.io

Role Description

Lemon.io is hiring its first engineer to own a brand-new internal data platform from zero. This person will:

• Design and build how we gather, structure, and surface developer intelligence.
• Make architectural decisions and pick the stack.
• Work directly with stakeholders across the organization to understand what data matters most.
• Build a system that makes data valuable for matching talent faster, smarter, and at scale.

This is a founding, senior/staff-level role. You won't inherit a codebase or join a squad.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building data/platform products.
• At least one 0 -> 1 greenfield build.
• Strong backend foundation.
• English B2 or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Data pipeline design and implementation experience.
• Experience with search and indexing systems (Elasticsearch or similar).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar).
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• System architecture skills.

Requirements

• Track record of working directly with non-technical stakeholders (product, ops, leadership).
• Reasonable infrastructure experience.
• ML/AI experience (embeddings, NLP, classification).
• Experience with ETL orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, Dagster).
• Data warehouse experience (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
