Role Description

Bluetick Consultants, a leading software development company, is seeking an experienced Senior Elixir Developer to join our team. As a Senior Elixir Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our highly innovative and scalable software solutions. • Design and develop highly scalable and robust software applications using Elixir programming language
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets industry standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing code to maintain optimal performance
• Continuously research and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve our development processes
• Mentor and assist other team members on technical aspects of Elixir development
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of our software solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Elixir programming language
• Strong understanding of functional programming principles and design patterns
• Experience in building highly scalable and fault-tolerant applications using OTP and Erlang/BEAM ecosystem
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one front-end framework (React, Vue, Angular)
• Solid understanding of relational databases and ORM frameworks (PostgreSQL, Ecto)
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
