Role Description

As our Senior E-Commerce Developer, you will own the front-end implementation of high-performing DTC e-commerce funnels, with Checkout Champ as the primary platform. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who combines strong front-end development skills, DTC e-commerce experience, and an AI-first approach to development. You’ll build and customize customer journeys across advertorials, quizzes, sales pages, checkouts, upsells, and post-purchase experiences, turning prepared designs and business requirements into fast, reliable, conversion-focused experiences.

You’ll work primarily with Checkout Champ, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, using AI development tools to accelerate execution while maintaining strong technical judgment and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Checkout Champ, including practical knowledge of configuring the platform, modifying checkout experiences, building or customizing funnel pages, and working with its core functionality.
• Strong front-end development skills across HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience building responsive, production-ready web experiences.
• Hands-on experience building DTC/e-commerce funnels, with a strong understanding of customer journeys across landing pages, sales pages, quizzes, checkouts, upsells, and post-purchase experiences.
• Ability to translate Figma designs and prepared creative assets into functional front-end pages quickly and accurately.
• Strong experience using AI coding tools to accelerate front-end development, with the technical knowledge required to review, troubleshoot, modify, and validate AI-generated output.
• A strong understanding of conversion-focused e-commerce development, with the ability to recognize implementation issues that could create friction or negatively impact the customer experience.
• Experience implementing A/B tests and experimentation within e-commerce funnels.
• A highly practical and autonomous approach. You can take a requirement, determine the right implementation path, solve problems independently, and deliver without requiring extensive technical direction.
• A strong focus on speed and quality, using templates, automation, AI, and existing systems intelligently rather than rebuilding straightforward solutions manually.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively.

Requirements

• Own the development and ongoing optimization of DTC e-commerce funnels in Checkout Champ, implementing complete customer journeys from landing and sales pages through checkout, upsells, and post-purchase experiences.
• Build and customize Checkout Champ pages and flows, including checkout experiences, funnel pages, offers, upsells, and other components required to support conversion-focused customer journeys.
• Translate Figma designs, copy, images, templates, and existing assets into responsive, production-ready front-end experiences using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Build custom-coded quizzes and interactive funnel experiences when required, ensuring they integrate seamlessly into the broader customer journey.
• Configure and support A/B tests and funnel experiments, implementing variations accurately and ensuring the underlying experience performs as intended.
• Use AI coding tools as a core part of your development workflow, accelerating implementation, troubleshooting, iteration, and repetitive development tasks without compromising code quality.
• Apply strong technical judgment to review, validate, troubleshoot, and modify AI-generated code, rather than relying on AI output without understanding how it works.
• Own QA and implementation quality across your work, testing responsiveness, functionality, checkout behavior, funnel logic, and customer journeys before release.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve development speed, reusable templates, automation, and workflows, helping the team deliver high-quality experiences more efficiently.
• Partner closely with other developers and cross-functional teams, taking ownership of your work and moving projects from requirements through successful production launch with minimal hand-holding.
