[Hiring] Senior Consultant - Endpoint & Device Management @Core

Role Description

As a Senior Consultant within the Endpoint & Device Management team, you will lead and deliver end‑to‑end Modern Workplace and device management solutions for our customers. This role combines technical leadership, customer‑facing consulting, and hands‑on engineering across all aspects of Microsoft Intune and the broader Microsoft 365 platform.

You will work across presales, scoping, discovery, design, governance, implementation, testing, documentation, and handover. The role also includes contributing to the development of productised services, accelerators, and repeatable patterns for the Cloud Practice.

This position will require deep expertise in Microsoft Intune across Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS and Android — covering fully managed, COPE, and BYOD scenarios — alongside strong knowledge of identity, compliance, security, and lifecycle operations.

This is a remote position; however, candidates must be permanent residents of the UK and must work remotely from within the UK. We also require a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft Intune across Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS, Android and BYOD models.
• Deep knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access, device join states, and identity governance.
• Hands‑on experience with:
  • Autopilot provisioning
  • App deployment and packaging
  • Configuration profiles & settings catalog
  • Compliance & protection policies
  • Endpoint security baselines
  • Update management (Windows Update for Business, Autopatch)
• Ability to create high-quality designs, documentation, runbooks, and operational guides.
• Experience delivering customer workshops and presenting technical content to varied audiences.
• Comfortable leading workstreams in a Professional Services or consulting environment.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft 365 Defender suite, especially Defender for Endpoint and Attack Surface Reduction.
• Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager features and functionality, especially build processes.
• Familiarity with macOS management models (MDM, configuration profiles, Bootstrap tokens).
• Experience integrating third‑party security tools (Jamf, Mobile Threat Defense, etc).
• Understanding of Zero Trust security models and modern identity principles.
• Knowledge of device lifecycle processes (build, deploy, maintain, retire).
• Supporting skills to engage in cross-practice projects across Identity & Access, Cloud Platform, or Security & Compliance.
