Role Description

Decima builds commerce systems that power global brands. We’re looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer with Adobe Commerce experience to join our remote engineering team. In this key technical role, you’ll lead development of core Magento 2 applications and extensions for enterprise-level e-commerce systems, help define architecture decisions, and collaborate closely with top-tier engineers across the full stack.

• Lead the design and development of Magento 2 modules, extensions, and integrations for enterprise clients.
• Collaborate closely with front-end, DevOps, and back-end developers to ensure smooth delivery and system coherence.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor teammates, and set best practices for quality and scalability.
• Drive architecture discussions and contribute to high-level technical decision-making.
• Stay ahead of the curve with modern PHP and Magento ecosystem trends.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Magento 2 PHP development.
• Strong understanding of Magento 2 architecture and modern PHP ecosystem.
• Experience with e-commerce architecture, module development, dependency injection, and API integration.
• Familiarity with Symfony, Composer, Elasticsearch, Redis, or similar tools.
• Prior experience on enterprise-scale e-commerce projects.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.
• Proactive, innovation-driven approach and ability to make decisions independently.
