[Hiring] Senior Backend Developer @Booming Games

Role Description

As an experienced iGaming developer, you will work on software that handles high volumes of gaming traffic, built for robustness and performance, with large-scale data storage at its core.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Game server-side application logic.
• Evolve the business’s software applications using the latest software development infrastructure and methods (Ruby 3).
• Develop analytics of solutions in the software (observability) and maintain automated tests.
• Conduct unit tests, code reviews and refactor source codes, assess and improve software performance.
• Write and document code that meets project standards to deliver the desired functionality aligned with the overall standards and guidelines.
• Introduce new technologies and information to improve documentation practices, scalability, testing techniques and refactoring.

Qualifications

• Seasoned in software development.
• Experience within the iGaming industry.
• Strong working experience with Ruby.
• Familiarity with C/C++, Rust or GO Lang is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Linux based operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of command line and Git Version System.
• Basic knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes.
• Willingness to learn and work with new technologies (i.e. gRPC, graphQL, GO Lang).
• Excellent written communication and documentation abilities in English.
• You have an open and persuasive style of communication and can illustrate difficult issues and complex relationships.
