Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Applications Developer.

• Develop software based on requirements developed by Business Analysts to meet the needed business solution at enterprise, large-scale level.
• All work is within the application development framework used by the organization.
• Work performed by the Application Developer is in collaboration with a Business Analyst to meet the requirement of fulfilling the client’s goals to implement the business solution.
• Proficiently execute the work using the tools and techniques implemented for the particular project.
• Work directly with Systems Architect to develop and implement new third-party applications, tools, and programming libraries to meet the business development goals of the client.
• Utilizes web-based software such as Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, Javascript, SOAP, REST API, mobile development, and Web Based API in the building of software applications.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years total work experience in development.
• Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) in order to support LowCode/No-Code Development Platform models.
• Experience using low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools.
• Developing application/process automation software based on BPMN models, experience using software tools such as Appian, Salesforce, Nintex, etc. with Microsoft SQL Server databases and Microsoft .NET development environment.
• Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development.
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
• Preferred to have a SAFe Agile Certification or industry recognized equivalent certification.
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
• Secret, IT II clearance.

Requirements

• Location: Remote with periodic support at Fort Belvoir or other places in the National Capitol Region.
• Type of environment: Remote.
• Noise level: Low.
• Work schedule: Day shift Monday – Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
• Amount of Travel: less than 10%.
• List of Approved States: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CT, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, IO, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WV, WI, WY.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Secret – IT-II (Tier 3).

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to use hands to handle, feel, touch; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds.
• Frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds; and up to 50 pounds.
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
