[Hiring] Senior API Developer @S Base Technologies

Role Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both front-end and back-end development, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality software solutions. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain applications that support our business objectives, with a particular emphasis on AWS cloud development.

This is supporting a project called Drug Pricing and this person will be building microservices architecture for the team. They should have a fundamental background in AWS services and solid design concept experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern front-end frameworks such as Angular and React.
• Implement back-end services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Leverage AWS cloud services, including Fargate, Lambda, S3, SQS, CloudFront, and Application Load Balancer (ALB), to build and deploy robust applications.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly interfaces and enhance user experience.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Work with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases to design and optimize data storage solutions.
• Integrate various AWS services and third-party APIs to create seamless application workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in full stack development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as Angular and React.
• Strong development experience with Python and one other programming language.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, including Fargate, Lambda, S3, SQS, CloudFront, and ALB.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and experience with GitHub Actions.
• Experience with both RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Experience working with REST and API development.

Requirements

• At least 2 Programming languages (one of them should be Python).
• API development experience.
• Microservices.
• AWS tech stack.
• Some exposure to UI development like Angular or React.js (optional but good to have).
• Senior API developer with a minimum of 10 years of experience – must be able to lead project end-to-end and mentor junior developers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
