[Hiring] Senior Agentic Operations & Observability Consultant - Automation @World Wide Technology

Role Description

As a Sr. Agentic Ops & Observability Consultant, you will take a leadership role in delivering outcomes across a wide range of global clients. This will be accomplished by engaging with customer leadership to define priorities and outcomes for engagements, expanding the capabilities and offerings of the practice, and delivering on consulting engagements in a leadership capacity.

• Lead customer discovery and translate business and operational challenges into technical strategies and architectures.
• Own solution architecture from concept through implementation across automation, observability, and AI-enabled operations.
• Provide technical leadership to delivery teams while remaining hands-on where needed.
• Communicate architecture, tradeoffs, and outcomes to both engineering teams and senior customer stakeholders.
• Develop reusable patterns, accelerators, and intellectual property that expand WWT’s capabilities.
• Mentor engineers and help establish development, architecture, and delivery best practices.

• You have extensive experience in developing and implementing IT automation within an organization.
• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or have equivalent experience.
• You have a proven track record of leading large and complex automation and observability engagements.
• You have experience in developing standards and best practices for development projects.
• You are familiar with modern development tools and environments, such as Git, Visual Studio Code, Docker/Podman, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and Linux/Unix.
• You have experience with data serialization formats such as YAML, JSON, XML, and CSV.
• You have proficiency in Python or other programming languages, and experience with Golang is a plus.
• You have a solid understanding of Model Driven Programmability (NETCONF/RESTCONF/YANG) and REST APIs.
• You have foundational knowledge of public cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP and private cloud computing platforms such as VMware vSphere.
• You have working knowledge of one or more observability and AIOps tools and platforms, including Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk, BigPanda, and Selector.ai.
• You have working knowledge of one or more automation and orchestration tools and platforms, such as Ansible and Terraform.
• You have working knowledge of AI-driven coding platforms and AI agent frameworks, such as Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex, and LangGraph.

Requirements

• Travel as needed to customer sites up to 30%.
