Role Description

SEIDOR North America is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable SAP Business One Technical Consultant to join our growing team!

We are seeking a skilled, self-learning, and technically adept individual to join our team as an SAP Business One (SAP B1) Consultant. The candidate must have SAP B1 experience and skills, HANA specific skills, and a solid foundation in data, software systems, and reporting. Candidates should be eager to expand their SAP Business One knowledge and any knowledge of external software systems that integrate with it. The SAP Business One Technical Consultant will be responsible for supporting and/or leading internal projects from installations, upgrades and migrations, to addons and/or integrations, as well as supporting customers with enhancements and issues. There will be customer interaction which requires interpretation, clarification and documentation of issues, new requests and opportunities. The consultant will troubleshoot technical issues and work cross-functionally with various departments to provide efficient and reliable solutions.

• Lead and assist with technical support and troubleshooting including performance tuning and optimization
• Collaboration - Work closely with cross-functional teams, customers and vendors to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP B1 solutions
• Participate in implementations, projects and customizations of SAP Business One using standard functionalities, HANA database management, and relevant add-ons.
• Leverage SQL and HANA specific skills to enhance database performance and analytics capabilities and provide database maintenance
• Proactively identify issues/risks and mitigate them
• User Focused - Understand end-user needs and provide solutions that enhance user experience and business functionality
• Act as a subject matter expert for SAP-related projects and functionality
• Develop simple customizations in SAP and with addons to extend SAP functionality
• Practical knowledge of SAP Business One software, setup and components
• Design, develop, and maintain reports using queries and reporting tools, including dashboards that leverage SAP HANA’s analytics capabilities.
• Understand how other systems integrate with SAP B1 (e-commerce, WMS...)
• Analyze data to support decision-making and ensure system data accuracy and integrity
• Contribute to system testing, user training, and documentation development
• Create, manage, enhance, and support Boyum B1UP functionalities to improve user experience and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with other consultants and technical teams to ensure cohesive project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP Business One, ERP software and support, software installations and data-focused roles (reporting analyst, data analyst…)
• Hands-on experience creating reports using Crystal Reports, SQL, HANA, Excel, or other reporting tools (PLD, Power BI, etc.)
• Technical aptitude with the ability to learn new systems independently
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Detail-oriented, with a high level of curiosity and initiative

Requirements

• Hands-on experience and Super-user knowledge of SAP Business One is a must
• Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, HANA)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational skills, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating work assignments to meet established completion dates
