Role Description

This is a remote position.

SAP ABAP Developer with Payroll

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months

This role works a 4x10 schedule (every Friday off) and is scoped for full-time telecommuting (Remote).

Seeking an experienced and motivated Staff Software Engineer with expertise in ABAP on the SAP Payroll platform. You will join a dynamic team supporting the 1LMX (One Lockheed Martin Transformation) program. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing and streamlining our payroll processes. This will involve:

• Providing ongoing support for Employee Central Payroll extensions and integrations using SAP ABAP, Schemas, CPI, and other technologies.
• Software engineering support in the areas of software development, application integration, application troubleshooting, scripting, and SaaS application configuration.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in SAP ABAP development, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in building integrations in the SAP CPI platform, including Groovy scripting.
• Strong background in SAP Payroll (on-premises and or Employee Central Payroll).
• Well-rounded knowledge of SAP full life cycle implementations and SAP concepts / capabilities.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of development concepts and the ability to apply them.
• Demonstrated ability to be self-organized and work tasks to closure independently.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work well on a virtual team.
• US citizenship required due to program requirements.

Requirements

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with JIRA.
• Experience using additional SAP technologies such as FIORI, UI5, BTP, AL11, and ODATA.
• Experience developing web service integrations.
