Role Description

The Technical Lead will be responsible for the overall technical architecture, solution design, development leadership, integration strategy, and successful delivery of Salesforce-based solutions within an assigned Salesforce Org. The individual will provide technical oversight for enterprise-scale implementations, ensure alignment with business and project objectives, lead development teams, and support highly available, integrated IT environments.

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise Salesforce solutions.
• Define and manage solution architecture for large-scale integrated IT systems.
• Provide technical leadership for Salesforce application development teams and oversee code quality, security, performance, and scalability.
• Design and implement multi-tier (n-tier) architectures supporting enterprise applications.
• Develop integration strategies and implement REST-based integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
• Ensure solutions meet high-availability, performance, reliability, and security requirements.
• Lead technical teams, conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and enforce best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, solution architects, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support data migration, data governance, and large-volume data processing initiatives.
• Participate in technical planning, estimation, risk management, and solution documentation activities.

Qualifications

• Technical Leadership Experience: Minimum 4 years as a Technical Lead or Solution Architect.
• Experience must include solutions supporting at least:
  • 5,000 combined internal and external users.
  • 5 million data records.
  • Multi-tier (n-tier) architecture environments.
  • High-availability architectures, including clustering, load balancing, or similar resiliency mechanisms.
• Team Leadership: Minimum 3 years leading and managing teams of five (5) or more full-time technical resources.
• Salesforce Development Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on Salesforce application development experience implementing solutions using at least three of the following technologies:
  • Apex
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • SOQL
  • SOSL
  • RESTful API Development and Integration
  • Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, candidates may possess an additional 4 years of qualifying Salesforce development experience beyond the minimum required experience.

Requirements

• Mandatory requirement: 1 Technical lead or architect role, directly responsible for design, development and implementation of integrated IT solutions. All four conditions below must be met on the cited project:
  • 4 yrs FTE
  • At least 5,000 users (internal and external combined) — state the actual number
  • At least 5 million data records — state the actual number
  • Multi-tier (n-tier) architecture — describe it
  • High availability environment, e.g. clustering or load balancing — describe it
  • Of which, leading a team of at least 5 FTE for 3 of the 4 yrs
• Salesforce application developer implementing solutions, covering at least three of: Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, RESTful API development and integration, Service Cloud & Marketing Cloud — 3 yrs FTE
• Bachelor's degree (copy required). Without one: 4 extra years of requirement 2, 7 yrs total

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• ITIL Certification.
• One or more active Salesforce certifications, including:
