Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience supporting and configuring Sage X3 in a live business environment, covering both functional and technical operations.
• Strong knowledge of Sage X3 Finance, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), and bank reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of Sage X3 Inventory or Distribution, including stock management, locations, transfers, receipts, stock counts, and costing methods such as FIFO and weighted average.
• Experience implementing at least one Sage X3 module end-to-end, including requirements gathering, configuration, data migration, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
• Proficiency in Sage X3 technical development, including 4GL programming, workflow configuration, screen and table customization, patch management, and SOAP or REST web services.
• Strong SQL skills, preferably Microsoft SQL Server, for data analysis, data correction, and integration troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting ERP integrations with other business systems, including file-based host feeds, APIs, and middleware.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage support queues in accordance with service-level agreements (SLAs), and communicate effectively with nontechnical finance and operations users.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Requirements

• Sage X3 certification in functional or technical disciplines.
• Experience in retail, wholesale, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), or grocery and liquor supply chains, including third-party logistics (3PL) warehousing and multi-site inventory management.
• Experience with Sage Enterprise Intelligence (SEI) and Power BI report development.
• Experience optimizing Sage X3 performance in heavily customized environments.
• Exposure to barcode- or scanner-based warehouse processes and GS1 standards.
• Familiarity with Australian finance practices, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), Business Activity Statement (BAS) reporting, and Australian banking file formats.
