Role Description

• Contribute to development and oversee the delivery of new projects.
• Provide technical estimations and support planning for new and ongoing initiatives.
• Ensure code quality, architectural consistency, and adherence to development standards.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
• Supervise technical delivery, remove blockers, and guide the team toward effective solutions.
• Assign tasks, manage technical priorities, and oversee workload distribution.
• Drive continuous improvement, internal technical processes, and innovation within the team.
• Manage Technical Teams:
  • Mentor engineers, provide coaching, and run regular 1:1 feedback sessions.
  • Support individual development plans, career growth, and succession planning.
  • Handle short-term resource conflicts and team allocation.
  • Foster collaboration, transparency, and a strong team culture aligned with company values.
  • Manage team balance, availability, and time-off calendars when needed.
  • Support recruitment processes, including technical screening and onboarding.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails.
• Solid experience with Active Record and RSpec.
• Experience working on production applications in AWS or Heroku.
• Strong background with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL).
• Experience writing tests / TDD or a strong culture of testing.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in technical planning, estimations, and delivery oversight.
• Experience supporting recruitment processes (technical screening, onboarding).
• Ability to foster collaboration, transparency, and a positive team culture.
• Polish and English at B2+ level.

Recruitment Process

• 1st Stage: 30-minute video interview with one of our recruitment team members.
• 2nd Stage: 1-hour technical video interview.
• 3rd Stage: 1-hour call with our Delivery Manager.
