[Hiring] Red Hat Streams / Kafka Architect @Prophecy Technologies

Role Description

Looking for a Senior Red Hat Streams for Apache Kafka Architect to support migration from open-source Apache Kafka to Red Hat Streams on OpenShift.

• Deep hands-on experience with Red Hat Streams / AMQ Streams
• Assess existing open-source Apache Kafka clusters, workloads, producers/consumers, topics, partitions, connectors and operational model.
• Design the target Red Hat Streams architecture, including clusters, sizing, storage, networking, HA/DR and multi-cluster considerations.
• Strong Apache Kafka, Strimzi and OpenShift expertise
• Experience migrating production Kafka clusters to Red Hat Streams
• Strong knowledge of MirrorMaker 2, Kafka Connect and KRaft
• Experience with Kafka security, HA/DR, scalability, performance and observability
• Ability to assess the current environment, define target architecture, migration strategy, sizing and implementation roadmap
• Experience with high-volume enterprise/event-streaming environments preferred

Ideal profile: Red Hat Streams/AMQ Streams architect with strong Kafka and OpenShift expertise who can independently lead architecture and migration planning.
