Role Description

This contract BeyondTrust/PAM Engineer role supports a large federal agency in protecting digital identities, network assets, hosted applications, and data within a large-scale IT environment. The engineer will implement cybersecurity strategies using tools such as BeyondTrust, Okta, Splunk, Active Directory, and Python for automation.

• Implement cybersecurity strategies to protect digital identities and network assets.
• Utilize BeyondTrust and Okta for identity and access management.
• Develop and manage Splunk knowledge objects.
• Perform Windows and Linux system administration.
• Script and automate processes using Python.
• Manage directory services, including Active Directory.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to influence and implement security measures.
• Prepare and interpret flowcharts and technical documentation.
• Build and maintain project schedules and action plans.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT security experience in a large enterprise environment.
• Experience with PAM solutions and identity/access management.
• Accredited college degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Technical certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH are beneficial.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Proficiency with BeyondTrust and Okta.
• Experience with Splunk and knowledge object development.
